Curaçao is a vibrant Dutch Caribbean island known for its colorful architecture, welcoming culture, beautiful beaches, and relaxed atmosphere. The island offers a unique blend of European charm and Caribbean warmth, making it an inspiring destination for creativity, exploration, and connection.

I have spent time in Curaçao and have developed many friendships there. This familiarity allows me to share some of the island's hidden gems while helping create a smooth, comfortable, and memorable experience for our group.

One of the things I love most about Curaçao is that it feels both adventurous and easy. English is widely spoken, the island is modern and welcoming, and the pace of life encourages you to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment.

A Special Note About Accommodations

The first participants who reserve their spots will be accommodated at Boca Simon Vacation Curaçao, located directly across the street from our beachfront atelier.

One of the things I love about this location is how easy it is to move between the hotel, the atelier, and the waterfront throughout the day. Many of our afternoons will be spent relaxing, creating, sharing ideas, and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere of the atelier and surrounding area.

Because the number of rooms available at Boca Simon is limited, I encourage you to reserve your spot early if this experience appeals to you. Once those rooms are filled, alternative accommodations will be arranged nearby.

My goal is to create a retreat that feels personal, relaxed, and welcoming, and securing accommodations early helps me make that possible for everyone attending.

Travel Information

Participants will be greeted at Curaçao International Airport (CUR) and transported to the hotel. The airport is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from the hotel and atelier.

For most participants traveling from California, flights typically involve one connection and take approximately 9–14 hours depending on the route.

For participants traveling from the East Coast, including Washington, D.C., flights often involve one connection and typically take approximately 5–9 hours.

Current airfare estimates are approximately $450–$850, depending on departure city and booking date.

Arrival & Departure

To fully enjoy the retreat experience, I recommend arriving on Sunday, February 7, 2027.

On Sunday evening, we'll gather for a casual welcome reception, providing an opportunity to meet fellow participants, settle into the island atmosphere, and begin what promises to be an inspiring week together.

For those who prefer less time away from home, arriving on Monday, February 8 is also possible before retreat activities begin.

Retreat activities will take place from Monday, February 8 through Friday, February 12, 2027.

On Thursday evening, we'll gather for a special farewell dinner to celebrate the friendships, experiences, and memories created throughout the week.

Participants may depart anytime on Friday, February 12. Those who wish can enjoy a relaxed morning, spend additional time exploring the island, shopping, visiting the beach, or simply soaking in a little more of Curaçao before heading to the airport.

Payment Schedule

• $400 deposit to reserve your spot. Fully refundable if cancelled before July 31, 2026. Due today.

• $1,800 due August 1, 2026

• $1,800 due October 1, 2026

Because space is limited, your place is reserved once your deposit has been received.

I am intentionally keeping this retreat small so that everyone has an opportunity to connect, feel welcomed, and enjoy a more personal experience.

Lodging in Curaçao is often reserved many months in advance, and availability can become limited. Because of this, I may not be able to secure lodging if too much time passes before a reservation is confirmed with a deposit.

Your early reservation allows me to secure accommodations, coordinate transportation, and thoughtfully plan the best possible experience for our group.

I am truly excited about all the creativity, inspiration, friendships, and memories we will create together. My hope is that this retreat will be much more than a trip—it will be an opportunity to connect, be inspired, make new friends, and return home with wonderful memories and a renewed sense of creativity.
