An intimate five-day painting experience with Paola Luther
Spend five inspiring days painting alongside Paola Luther in her private studio in beautiful Westlake Village, California. Designed for only six participants, this immersive experience combines personalized artistic instruction, museum visits, creative discussions, demonstrations, and plenty of individual painting time.
This workshop is ideal for artists who want focused guidance in a relaxed and encouraging environment while experiencing Southern California's vibrant art scene.
Whether you travel from another state or another country, you'll receive individual attention that simply isn't possible in larger workshops.

Daily Schedule

Studio demonstrations, drawing and painting

Painting sessions, critiques, individual instruction, and creative discussions
During the week we will also visit one or more outstanding Los Angeles museums to study masterworks, composition, color, and brushwork firsthand.
Museum visits may include locations such as:
The Getty Center
The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens
Museum schedule may vary depending on exhibitions and availability.

Workshop Location
The workshop takes place in Paola Luther's private studio in:
Westlake Village, California
Located about 45 minutes from downtown Los Angeles and approximately one hour from Los Angeles International Airport (traffic permitting), Westlake Village offers a peaceful setting while remaining close to world-class museums, galleries, and Southern California attractions.
A detailed welcome guide with recommended hotels, airports, transportation options, and nearby restaurants will be provided after registration.

Artists traveling from overseas are warmly welcomed.

Participants should plan to arrive before the workshop begins on October 5, 2026.

Workshop Fee
$3,000 USD
Maximum of 6 participants
Because of the highly personalized instruction, enrollment is extremely limited.
Scholarship Opportunities
Creating opportunities for artists has always been an important part of my teaching. Scholarships are intended to help passionate artists who would benefit from the experience. Contact me if interested in a partial scholarship. Applications will be reviewed individually.
Reservation
A $500 deposit reserves your space.
The remaining balance is due 60 days before the workshop begins.
Because enrollment is limited to only six participants, spaces are expected to fill quickly.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits are refundable until July 31, 2026.
After July 31, deposits become non-refundable unless your space can be filled from the waiting list.
If Paola Luther must cancel the workshop for any reason, all payments will be fully refunded.
Participants are responsible for purchasing travel insurance if traveling from outside the area.
What Should I Bring?
A recommended materials list will be sent after registration.
Participants may bring supplies in oil, acrylic, watercolor, or drawing media. Contact me if you need supplies.

Final payment for the Los Angeles Studio Immersion. Due by the payment deadline. Your workshop registration is complete once this balance has been paid.
